In small batch production and trial production of new products, the simple mould has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, rapid manufacturing, such as combined die, sheet die, polyurethane rubber mold, low melting point alloy mould and zinc alloy, superplastic alloy die etc.. The mold has begun to employ computer aided design (CAD), i.e., a computer centered system for optimal design of dies. This is the development direction of die design.
